 Nieuw-Vennep, December 2011 - GPS Celebrates 5th anniversary
5 years with Passion & Know-how! The activities of the company were initially started early 2001 in a different set-up. End of 2005 the initiators decided to change their routing and developed a new busines structure. They created a new version of the existing identity and continues as GPS (Global Pieter Smit B.V.).
Now 5 yeards later, GPS is a well known and respected company offering unique and dedicated logistics solutions, mainly within the markets for Live Entertainment, Motorsports Logisitcs and Project Logistics. From solar houses, exclusive race cars, historic cars, fine arts, ice shows, ballet productions, dance groups, boiler parts to a veriety of sound and light equipment. We shipped them all!
For the next 5 years GPS will continue to focus on it’s performances and give full attention to further grow their market shares. To further expand their Global network and permanently improve skils and know-how of staff and management. In December GPS will move their office and warehouse to a brand new and dedicated facility. A state-of-art warehouse, fully equipped and secured with a entry contol system, alarm system and permant camera servaillance.
