GPS is part of the Pieter Smit Group.

Pieter Smit Group, founded and fully owned by Mr. Pieter Smit, is very stable and financial healthy group of companies specialised in logistical services.
With a consolidated turnover of approximately EUR 17 million (2006) and approximately 60 employees the Pieter Smit Group is a leading player in the market for tour, entertainment and motorsport logistics.


The activities can be divided in five groups:
  • Pieter Smit Show Services BV:
    Offers integrated logistical services: tour/road transport, storage and distribution in Europe.
  • Pieter Smit Theater Rock BV: Fleet management, truck, trailer and car rental services.
  • Cars BV: Inhouse car, truck and trailer services and repair. Constructions of special transportation equipment.
  • Global Pieter Smit BV International Motorsport, Entertainment and Project Logistics (air, sea and road transportation).
  • Pieter Smit Container Storage BV Re-constructions and rental services of all types of containers. As well as supply of containers for storages purposes.
